The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is pleased to announce a grant from the Texas Bar Foundation in support of our immigration and legal services program.

Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $30 million in grants to law-related programs. Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation's largest charitably-funded bar foundation.

Isra began assisting the PIR (Program of Initial Resettlement) team during a transition period and we were without a housing specialist - she immediately stepped in to help fill that critical gap. Since then, she has become an immensely valuable teammate. Isra is always willing to jump in wherever she’s needed, we are incredibly grateful for her support!

Jessica was an amazing help during our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. She attended IRC orientations, got IRS certified and came to the tax center every week!

Isabella, who is completing her master’s in social work, serves our Education & Learning program. She is intentional, receptive and client-centered in everything she does! Thank you, Isabella, for your dedication and support! We appreciate you!
