So nice of Michelin Rated Chef Michael White to come out of the kitchen to say hello to us. It was busy!! Everything was fabulous, thank you chef! Best Italian we’ve ever had!

Never take $20 for granted. A young man came into our Support your Troops Resale Store today looking for black slacks.
This young man was probably 16 years old. Behind him was his mom, saying he got a job but they purchased black jeans for $20 but his job said it had to be black slacks and the jeans would not work.
The reason they came to our resale store was they did not have another $20 to spend for slacks so they came to get our slacks for $5.
Of course when we heard the story we provided the slacks for free. When we told him the slacks were on the house his eyes lite up a little in disbelief.
See the kid and mom never mentioned why they were in the store it was a member of Operation Once in a Lifetime that started the conversation because not to often teenagers come in to the store looking for dress pants.
Often we get credit for doing good things but that’s because more times than not we are simply paying attention and always looking to make a difference in the world where we can; and we remember the times in our lives that $20 was all we had till our next pay check. We are all capable of making a difference in this world, sometimes we just need to slow down and pay attention for the opportunities.
