At STL Engineers, we take pride in the people around us. The engineers, project managers, partners, and clients who make up our world come from all walks of life, and that is something we consider one of our greatest strengths. Different backgrounds, different experiences, and different perspectives are what push our work beyond the ordinary and into something we are genuinely proud to put our name on.

Juneteenth gives us a chance to pause and reflect on that with real appreciation. It is a reminder that when people are given the opportunity to contribute, to grow, and to thrive, incredible things happen — on job sites, in offices, and in the communities we all share. We do not take that reminder lightly.

STL Engineers was honored to serve as a Lunch Sponsor at the 2026 RHCA Golf Tournament at Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton Monday, and it was a day that reminded us exactly why investing in community and industry relationships matters just as much as the work we do in the field.

During Construction Safety Week 2026, STL Engineers is proud to stand with our industry partners in being “All In Together” for a stronger, safer built environment. Keeping our staff safe on the job site and in the office starts long before boots hit the ground, as we identify high‑energy, high‑hazard conditions in design and planning to help prevent serious injuries and fatalities. Our teams regularly train on field and lab hazards like heat stress, silica exposure, and defensive driving so that both our people and the communities we serve are protected wherever we work. We also invest in hands‑on preparation for high‑risk activities such as excavations, confined spaces, manlift operations, and fall protection so our engineers and technicians understand the controls needed before they ever step onto a site. In the field, STL performs daily toolbox talks with clients and contractors to keep hazards visible and expectations clear, and we have hosted concrete and asphalt safety demonstrations to help partners recognize and manage job‑specific risks together. Safety Week is a show of force for our industry, and we remain committed to doing whatever it takes to send everyone home safely every day.

The STL Engineers leadership team had yet another incredible experience at the World of Concrete 2026 Expo in Las Vegas, NV — one of the most influential gatherings for professionals shaping the future of construction and infrastructure.

Over the course of the event, our team connected with thought leaders, discovered the latest advancements in concrete technology, and explored innovative products, equipment, and techniques that continue to move the industry forward. From sustainability solutions to emerging design tools, the insights gained will help us continue to deliver even greater value and precision in the work we do every day.

We are proud to be part of this community that celebrates innovation, collaboration, and progress in the built environment — and we are proud to bring what we learned back to our projects across Texas and beyond.

STL Engineers is excited to partner with Oncor on the Prong Moss Switch project in Midland. This initiative will upgrade West Texas’s critical energy infrastructure. As the project’s trusted geotechnical and testing partner, STL Engineers is providing thorough site investigations, advanced construction materials testing, and quality management services to help deliver a state-of-the-art 345-kV switching station and rebuilt transmission lines. This collaboration with Oncor will boost reliability, meet the region’s growing energy needs, and pave the way for a resilient future throughout the Permian Basin. STL Engineers is proud to play a hands-on role in one of the most important Tier 1 transmission upgrades for Texas.
