❤️💛 This week is National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week!

Food and housing are basic needs, yet the stark reality is that widespread hunger and homelessness continue to be a challenge for individuals and families in communities across the country.

How can you help meet these needs for your neighbors? Volunteer your time at a local non-profit or mutual aid group. Donate money, food, toiletries, or other goods to local pantries or community members. Raise awareness by sharing posts and starting conversations with friends and family.

Together, we can all do something to improve the quality of life for our neighbors!

From food pantry guests to director and deacon!

Mr. and Mrs. Merchant moved to Converse, TX from West Virginia 3 years ago. They found information about our food pantry searching online. After a couple months coming and receiving a "hand up," the Merchants went from volunteering at the food pantry to becoming church members, and now Mrs. Merchant is the Kitchen Ministry Director and Mr. Merchant is an active Deacon of CFBC.
