Did some field testing of the Resolume rest api on the 3 projector blended backdrop. Gonna start building my own api layout for clients to see what clips are in my banks to give them a visual of what’s next in my deck backstage at FOH.

We’re still here! I decided to make one massive post for most of the gigs I’ve been apart of since the Spring of 2019.

Everything from Live Streams, Concerts, Churches, Corporate, Music Videos, Music Venues and more. I’ve been fortunate to work with several awesome vendors and clients. Looking forward to another calendar year full of live events and social gatherings.

Been behind the drivers seat of an internationally broadcast 100% virtual corporate conference the last 3 days. Guest speakers from 5 different countries, and people tuning in from all over the world. The annual event was canceled like many others due to covid-19. We have been fortunate enough to be included in some projects during this outbreak, all while maintaining social distancing.

My client The Event Nerd asked me 2 weeks ago if I felt like going on a journey, deep diving into a new platform and doing something, at least from what we know, hasn’t been done before at this level. We did that and then some.

I truly enjoy these learning experiences and being able to push technology to its maximum capabilities (almost to the breaking point). Everyone on this one felt that way about their respected rolls and I don’t think I’ve ever been apart of a more solid team of professionals. We spent days and nights dialing in and tweaking even the most minor things. A lot of it on little sleep and an insane amount of commitment to what we love. With purpose it hardly feels like work though, and with the right people it can truly be fun.

Even after all the troubleshooting was solved the only caveat that remain was the uncertainty of the internet around the world... but we pulled it off and the model for the next one remains.

If this is how we do shows for the next year or so I’m game for it.

We worked with It'll DO Club to add an element unlike any other in the DFW metroplex. The club was known for being a dimly lit dance floor, world class DJs and an amazing sound system.

Utilizing the preexisting exposed ceiling we maintained the intimate feeling created by the old club. With Resolume Arena 7 behind the wheel, mapping and driving the ENTTEC Tritons was done with ease. The LED strips are single chip WS2815 protocol with a backup power, ground and data to ensure a solid show. Chauvet Colorado pars wash the ceiling to create depth and are also integrated into the Artnet network. All controlled in Resolume via an APC mini. The computer and horizontal rows run on a battery backup system and is stable in full power for just over an hour.

This has been a major passion project and we are ecstatic to finally share our work and announce our involvement in the rebirth of a Dallas legendary dance club.

This summer was fun and exciting! From installs to corporate shows we’ve had our hands full. Lots of travel and new friends!

The fall has presented some new relationships and opportunities that we can’t wait to share! As we finalize some exciting future announcements here are some photos from our summer and fall.
