RIP - the memories. Wow. Peabo was one of my mama’s favorites! So naturally, I knew all his songs. Fast forward to adulthood and me and my law school girlfriends were baby attorneys and went to the Love Train Concert at the on February 17, 2012. All the old school uncs and aunties were in the house and baby, Peabo tore the house down!
The lineup was 🔥- Chaka Khan, Howard Hewitt, the Ohio Players, Jeffrey Osborne, Confunkshun, The O’jays and more….
What a time to be alive! Rest in peace Peabo. Your classics will live on forever.
P.S. Apologies in the video quality. It was 2012 and the phones were different lol. Plus we were towards the far end of the stadium….

When Black Women come together, we change the WORLD!
When promoted her comedy show in Plano on I immediately got my ticket because I wanted to support her.
I actually got the chance to meet the INCREDIBLE and BEAUTIFUL last night after her comedy set at and WOW wow wow 🤯 We laughed from beginning to end!

Jess was genuine, humble and so caring to each and one of her fans. What a class act! She didn’t rush us, didn’t make us feel like we were just another fan - but listened, hugged us all and expressed her gratitude. Love this woman!!!
