Safety means more at Moss. We walk the walk on every single job site.
Every week without fail, our safety team checks in with crews across our great state of Texas. On these walks, they invite project managers, estimators, leadership, and new hires to learn every step of our utility production firsthand.
Nobody in the Moss family is afraid to put on a hard hat and vest. We wear them proudly, we wear them correctly, and we do the right thing when no one is looking. Our work simply means more to us.
Now landing at Arlington Municipal Airport!
Our crews recently took flight on a new project: building essential infrastructure for a brand new hangar. When planes aren't in the air, they need a safe place to rest their landing gear.
Just as pilots focus on bringing everyone home, our crews focus on installing mission critical piping safely. Our underground infrastructure keeps air traffic moving seamlessly in the skies.

For this Moss Fuerte Monday, we learn that David's journey is a testament to grit, growth, and taking bold leaps of faith.
Over twelve years ago, he entered the construction industry as a driver. Eager to learn more, he routinely stayed after his shifts to study blueprints, review as-builts and master project plans. That relentless initiative moved him into office administration, then into project engineering, and eventually into full-time project management.
Despite building a successful career on the west coast, David and his wife wanted something more for their family. They made the daring decision to sell their home and move to DFW. On his drive across state lines, David called his recruiter with one clear directive, he wanted to work for Moss Utilities. Having researched the company beforehand, he knew it was a place where he could build a long-term career, while prioritizing his family.
David’s advice for anyone in project management is that real progress takes patience, calculated risks, and the willingness to learn from every win and failure along the way. We are proud to have David on our team leading our projects and showing what it truly means to be .
From working alongside his dad as a laborer to becoming a superintendent, Salvador's journey shows what it means to build a career from the ground up.
His approach to leadership is straightforward: empower your team, prioritize safety, and build an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions. You don't need a formal degree to lead. All it takes is hard work, continuous learning, and the drive to lift up those around you.
