Nontraditional venues sometimes prove to be the most effective. This week we had the opportunity to tour Apollo Junior High in Richardson ISD which features a unique E-sports Arena classroom.

TSPE - Dallas Chapter and TSPE Preston Trail Chapter kicked off their 2025 Engineers Week Annual Awards Luncheon celebration with a fantastic Sponsor Appreciation Reception hosted by -Dawson Engineers with a TexMex dinner by Cuisine, sponsored libations from Regional Hispanic Contractors Association Dallas, an interesting keynote presentation by one of our Honorary Co-Chairs Mo Bur of Texas Department of Transportation and the honoring of our Student Engineer of the Year Chau of SMU as well as the other awardees in partnership with ASCE Dallas Branch, Society of Petroleum Engineers Dallas and of American Military Engineers Dallas. We believe that all neighbors want similar things— health, happiness, financial stability, quality education and opportunities. CAC was thankful to be the planner for Ascend Dallas for their inaugural Rise Resource Fair in June!

There are times when we give back to our community with pro bono planning support and we are always happy to help Richardson ISD Education Foundation shine at their annual fundraiser which raises close to $200,000 towards their programming which includes innovative grants for teachers, scholarships and much more!

EarthX is a joy to be a part of— we’ve lost count of what year this is with them but 2024 was a stellar celebration with over 3,500 conferees and over 7 days— can’t wait for next year!

Another fabulous year for Frazier Revitalization’s Living My Best Healthy Life Health Fair— I was too busy to snap many pics but trust me when I saw everyone loved Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream food truck, the multitude of booths and health screenings, music from WZUP Productions, exercise from Fit, and more!
