The entertainment never stops at a Dallas Winds concert! In addition to our 6:30pm pre-concert talk, 7:15 lobby fanfare, and the main concert, we're excited to have the UTA Department of Music Trombone Choir performing during intermission in the lobby, directed by our own Jacob Muzquiz. Step out and enjoy the noble sounds!
Bret Newton returns on Tuesday March 17 to give a pre-concert talk at 6:30 in Horchow Hall (downstairs at the Morton H Meyerson Symphony Center). Come early and get the full experience!

The winning fanfare for March 2026 is "Blue-Sky Fanfare" by Alex Ehredt. It will be performed in the Meyerson lobby at 7:15pm prior to our March 17 concert by the UTA Wind Symphony Brass and Percussion, Dr. Chris Evans, conductor.

Lea Courington Scholarship Application 2026
Friends of WRR and Dallas Winds ANNOUNCES:
APPLY ONLINE AT https://dallaswinds.org/scholarships/
The application will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
The Scholarship is for a graduating senior who will Major in Music Performance.
Application period is now open and ends March 21, 2026
The scholarship winner will be announced before April 17, 2026.
The scholarship is $4,000 per year for four years ($16,000)
and is funded by the Friends of WRR and the family of Lea Courington.
This application requires you provide a youtube video link of a performance. Contact us if you have questions.
