Sixteen stadiums set to host games at the World Cup 2026 06/11/2026

The World Cup begins today, and stadium architecture is already part of the conversation.

Designed by HOK, the project will introduce a transparent roof canopy, expanded concourses, and a bold new exterior identity, all focused on improving shade, comfort, airflow, and the fan experience.

Tropicana Field is back, reimagined with a new PTFE membrane roof spanning more than 345,000 square feet.

Following Hurricane Milton, the replacement required rapid coordination across engineering, fabrication, and installation, resulting in one of the largest membrane panel installations of its kind.
