The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center
Empowering adults with the tools to homeless recovery as they move into sustainable housing.
🐶 A hot new bombshell has entered the kennel...
Meet Milo, one of three new pups settling into The Bridge Kennel.
While he’s already making friends and enjoying plenty of yard time, Milo is also preparing for surgery to remove a few growths.
We’re incredibly grateful to our kennel partners, Dallas Pets Alive and Spay Neuter Network, for helping care for pets like Milo. Whether it’s a vaccine clinic or routine veterinary care, their support helps ensure our Guests don’t have to choose between their recovery and their best friend.

Communities across Texas are working to address homelessness, and recently, The Bridge had the opportunity to share our approach with visitors from from Corazon San Antonio.
During their visit, the team toured our campus and met with staff to explore everything from our Day and Night Shelter services to the partnerships that help Guests move toward recovery, stability, and housing.
💬 "It was wonderful to connect with our friends from Corazón and explore the unique ways The Bridge supports individuals experiencing homelessness," said Dr. David Woody III.
We are proud to be part of conversations that strengthen homelessness services across Texas and grateful for opportunities to share what we've learned while continuing to learn from others.
Thank you to the Corazón San Antonio team for spending time with us and for the work you do in your community. 💙

Recovery looks different for everyone, but for many, employment is an important step toward stability and independence. 💼
Yesterday, our Employment Specialist Iesha Edwards hosted a job fair at The Bridge, connecting Guests with local employers and opportunities across a variety of industries.
The support doesn't stop there. Iesha works one-on-one with Guests to build resumes, prepare for interviews, secure professional attire, and develop the skills needed to succeed in the workplace.
🌟 Thank you to the employers who invested their time and shared opportunities with our Guests!

After experiencing homelessness for 10 years, Terry found support, stability, and a fresh start right here.
Terry first came to The Bridge for Day Services. With the support of his Recovery Care Manager and his Housing Care Manager Leah, he was able to move into housing and remain stably housed. 🏠
Move-in day came with uncertainty and questions, but Terry says Leah took the time to truly listen and support him through every step of the process. Today, Terry spends his days building roots in his community with his dog Niko by his side.
“If I was homeless and trying to find help, this is the best place to go for shelter,” Terry shared. “Plus people here are getting help back up on their feet, and my Care Manager does an amazing job. Five stars.” ⭐
At The Bridge, recovery and housing are possible because of compassionate staff, individualized support, and a community that believes everyone deserves stability, dignity, and hope.
Your support helps make stories like Terry’s possible. Help The Bridge continue creating pathways toward recovery and stable housing ➡️ https://secure.qgiv.com/for/bridgesteps
