Her crew had wrapped filming the music video for "Rock The Boat" in the Bahamas at the time of her death. Aaliyah's impact on the world of Black entertainment and fashion remains significant. Her legacy continues to influence artists across generations.
Her music catalog includes deeper cuts beyond her popular hits like "Back And Forth" and "Try Again." Tracks like “One in a Million”, “4 Page Letter”, and “At Your Best”, are still still celebrated as a timeless blueprint for contemporary R&B.
She released three studio albums and made her film debut in Romeo Must Die in 2000 and Queen of the Damned in 2002. .
