Hope that everyone is enjoying their winter break so far! One of my friends, Suprikka Srinivasan, is visiting Umphress Terrace Senior Living Apartments tomorrow at 10 am to hand out some much needed winter wear. I just wanted to open up the opportunity to all of you too! It will be a great way to celebrate the generosity of the holiday season and end the year by giving back! Spoorthi Summer Lock-In, Spoorthi 3rd Anniversary
& Youth Festival

We will have events planned throughout the day for elementary, middle school, and high school students!

Highlights of the event:

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Registration
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Activities includes Competitions (Painting, Spelling Bee & Debate), Workshops for Elementary, Middle School & High School Students(and Parents as well). Developing a Beautiful Mind (Mental Math Workshop)
Career oriented Medical workshop for high school students who are interested especially about Caribbean Islands Medical schools and Medical career.
Also Mentorship programs, fun Ice breakers and team building games.

6;00 PM - 7:00 PM - Dinner (Catered by Bawarchi Biryani Point)

7:00 PM - 10;00 PM - Dance performances and Singing by Tollywood Singer Naga Sahiti & local talent followed by DJ

Mentorship Program: Middle school children will mentor elementary school children, and high school to middle school. This is a way to network and learn what classes will be more beneficial, how to teach others and share knowledge, how to help our community become closer, and to meet new people. We will also have opportunities for high school students to be mentored by college students.

Remember "A Beautiful Mind"? Ever wished that you could emulate the great John Nash? Well, here's your chance! At the Spoorthi bash, we will be having a short and fun "Beautiful Mind" math workshop that will help you ace those coveted math skills and give your calculus teachers a run for their money
