Crayton Webb explores these in the next Two Minutes of Advice. Be on the lookout for the full episode releasing next week.

Shoutout to the Carry The Load team of Shaelyn, Allison, Tonie, Anna and Alejandra for winning May's Hit of the Month.

This talented group demonstrated the power of purpose-driven storytelling, generating media coverage across Dallas-Fort Worth and Phoenix. Their impact, however, went far beyond the headlines. Through their dedication and commitment they helped share a meaningful message of remembrance and support for our military community.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 🇺🇸👏

Opal Lee is a reminder that one voice and one message can make a difference.

Last year, the social media team visited the African American Museum of Dallas and viewed her portrait by Charles Gray. Known as the "Grandmother of Juneteenth," Lee spent years raising awareness about Juneteenth, ultimately helping it become a federal holiday in 2021.

Her story is a great example of what can happen when a message resonates and a community rallies behind it.

As storytellers, we're inspired by the impact one person can have when they refuse to let an important story go untold.

To learn more about Lee's journey, check out her recent Stand Together feature at https://bit.ly/4veEudf.

Happy Juneteenth!

For the past five years, Pio del Castillo has been a valuable member of the team, bringing dedication, positivity and a willingness to jump in wherever he can help. We're lucky to have him on the team.

We're also lucky for the occasional bonus that comes with having Pio around, his baking skills! From time to time, he's treated the office to homemade desserts that are just as appreciated as his hard work.

Congratulations on your fifth , Pio!

Today, we celebrate one of Kelly Hunter’s final remarkable achievements.
Kelly’s outstanding media pitching led to a feature in People spotlighting Gobundance CEO Matt King ATX as he bikes from Mexico to Canada, giving away money to those in need across rural America.

A fantastic story shared by a fantastic storyteller.

A wife, mom, friend and mentor. A true Dallas PR maven.

We’re saddened by the loss of our dear, beloved colleague Kelly Hunter. When she joined Sunwest Communications just over 5 years ago, after nearly 30 years at Shiroma Southwest, we gained more than a world-class communications leader. We gained a friend.

Thank you, Kelly, for the countless hours of media advice, event expertise, mentorship and truly endless knowledge. We are grateful to have known and loved you.

We’ll keep the chocolate bowl full. Rest in peace.
