Today’s Freedom February Event….Freedom for the Soul

We were blessed enough to serve 128 of our sisters and brothers. We fed their soul with chicken,green beans,greens,corn,and rolls. We also provided the care packages with necessities.

We would like to thank Chicken Head’s located at 4925 Bonnie View Rd Dallas, Tx for providing the chicken and our sister on the ground Barbara Ann Gilder for cooking the sides with so much love!

Youth Panel Politics Are Not! The youth chose to speak on issues they are coping with and the harm to others! The evening include Dance performances! It was the youth night and they enjoyed their time to shine! Continue listening and supporting our future!

Southern Sector Rising is presenting Freedom February events on February 26 and February 28, 2026. You are invited to two youth projects beginning February 26, 2026: a Youth panel discussion "Politics are not" and Arts through Drama and Dance. The second event, a youth-led movement "Freedom for the Soul", on February 28, will feed the unhoused and deliver disaster survival kits.
