The Dallas Rugby Football Club was established in 1968, and is the premier Rugby Club in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

It is with a heavy heart that Dallas RFC says farewell to another founding member of our club.

Frank was a fierce front rower, tough competitor and even better friend and father. He never knew a stranger and never stopped talking about the old glory days.

Frank was admitted into the Dallas RFC Hall of Fame in 2008 where he was joined by fellow Reds, Tim Ryan, Pat Grazoli, and Boyd Adams.

Club President, John McAuliffe had this to say, “We honor Frank’s legacy and support by carrying on with the culture and traditions that was founded back in 1968. Thank you for paving the way for future generations.”

Dallas RFC sends our love and support to the Van Leer family.

Loss is never an easy pill to swallow. This one hits a lot harder in the Dallas RFC family.

Today we lay to rest one of our founding members and club supporter: Steve Lindley.

“In 1969, Steve became a founding member of the Dallas Rugby Football Club, also known as the Reds. He helped establish and grow a community that continues to bring people together, and he ultimately became a member of the DRFC Hall of Fame. His passion, leadership, and dedication to the sport created lifelong friendships and a lasting legacy within the rugby community.“

Club President John McAuliffe had this to say about Steve:
“Dallas Rugby wouldn’t be here without Steve Lindley. A founding member and old boy throughout our existence. We thank Steve for paving the way for the Reds Family for generations to come.”

Dallas RFC sends our love and support to the Lindley family as they cope with this loss.
