Assisted Living Week just keeps getting better! 🎉 The Simpson Place Assisted Living team was thrilled to welcome the Dallas Police Department for a karaoke party, pizza, and plenty of dancing!

The officers and residents both sang their hearts out and shared a fantastic time together. Moments like these remind us why community connection matters so much. 💛

Our residents brought so much energy to Glo Bowling, and the tattoo station was just as popular as ever. Watching everyone light up (literally!) is a reminder of how much joy these moments bring.

Today marks the start of a special week dedicated to celebrating the incredible community we have built together at Simpson Place Assisted Living. We kicked things off with Sunshine Sips toast, shared our Golden Beginnings, and enjoyed a movie matinee with golden popcorn — and it was a wonderful start! 🍿

This week is a reminder of how meaningful connection and care truly are. We are grateful for our residents, families, staff, and volunteers who make Simpson Place Assisted Living such a special place every day.

Our Assisted Living's weekly Women's Circle had the pleasure of welcoming our very own administrator, Erika, to share her personal journey — from the chapters of her life to the meaningful work she does every day behind the scenes. It was a beautiful reminder that the people who keep things running are just as inspiring as the mission itself.

We are grateful for spaces like our women's circle that encourage authenticity, vulnerability, and real conversation.

Nothing says summer in Texas quite like a cool scoop of ice cream! 🍦Our Administrator spent the afternoon serving up sweet treats and smiles to residents and staff as we welcomed the season and found a fun way to beat the Texas heat! ☀️

What a wonderful week it has been at Simpson Place! 🌸 Our amazing residents have been absolutely glowing with joy and laughter throughout their skilled week activities. From soothing hand massages that brought comfort and relaxation, to exciting rounds of bingo that had everyone cheering, the energy has been simply infectious!

The week was filled with gentle arm exercises that helped strengthen muscles while beautiful music played in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere for wellness and fun. Our creative residents also enjoyed making gorgeous flowers and engaging in stimulating word games that kept their minds sharp and spirits high.

But the absolute highlight had to be today's sweet surprise their meal of the month and- ice cream popsicles! 🍦 You should have seen their faces light up with pure delight! The "oohhs" and "ahhs" filled the room as they savored every delicious bite. Those sparkling eyes and genuine smiles reminded us exactly why we do what we do - creating moments of pure happiness and making dreams a little sweeter, one scoop at a time! ✨
