ONE YEAR SOBER FROM FORD
One year ago I gave up Ford and switched to Toyota.
I bought a 2025 Toyota Tundra.
I have not made ONE repair in a year and this many miles, 38,862
Grogu has been to Florida (x2), Alabama, Missouri, and North Dakota prisons in the last year.

So grateful for all the transformation this truck has allowed me to go be a part of.

SUNDAY
Breakfast was incredible this morning.
Such a great time of praise reports, discussion, fellowship, and breaking bread.
We got to encourage some mamas who have sons in prison.
Miguel, our new resident, got to share his story.
And we all enjoyed the new furniture.
I love doing life with these people.
We have a great tribe.
We stopped and honored the men and women who lost their lives during this current war we are in.

“I’M LEAVING THIS IN THE WATER”
During baptism class people are asked the question, what are you going to leave in the water.
Michael pulled out his TDCJ ID and said “I’m leaving THIS in the water”
After he came up my wife tried to hand it back to him and he grabbed it and threw it back into the water.
He was serious.
He found Social Dallas while in jail.
This was just one of so many people we got to celebrate with, cry with, declare with, agree with, that the old is dead and buried.
We celebrate the word that went forth today by Pastor Robert Madu and all the people, 350+, who publicly declared their faith in Jesus today.

BREAKFAST FELLOWSHIP TOMORROW. Memorial Day Weekend Edition
Sunday, May 24, 2026
from 8a-9:30a
7943 Claremont Dr,
Dallas, TX 75228
18+only
We will take a special moment to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
And you get to meet our newest resident, Miguel.
Taco Cabana breakfast tacos and Cheilla’s sausage balls.
We will eat first, then share triumphs, trials, and do a devotion. If you need encouragement for whatever season you are in, come on out.
All are welcome. Single, married, separated, dating, male, female, old, young, formerly incarcerated, never been in trouble, in recovery, walking in freedom, dallas cowboys fan, and all the correct fans, full of joy, or in a season of depression, employed, unemployed, have I left anyone out?
If you just want to hang around some flawed, but really cool people, and eat, and hear some great testimony and word, come hang out.
We do it every two weeks.
See you here.
You never know who will show up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM.
I was sick on Sunday, which was my mom’s 83rd birthday, so we celebrated her tonight.
Even now, she’s got the most personality of anyone in the world.
Happy birthday mama. We love you.

FAMILY CONVERSATION
At my moms and my girls are breaking out into song with every sentence anyone says.
It’s pretty cool.
Then Jessa says, “Daddy, give me a sentence”
I said, “30 years”
Jessamy says, “that’s not a sentence”
I waited.
Jessamy rolls eyes.
Jessa screamed when she got it.
