Associates of the Dallas Water Commons team joined fellow water advocates, policymakers, and visionaries at the Texas Water Foundation’s 2025 Rainmaker Award ceremony. Rep. Cody Harris was honored for his instrumental role in advancing House Joint Resolution 7, a landmark measure that lays the foundation for dedicated, long-term funding for Texas water infrastructure.
It was an evening not only recognizing present legislation but the decades of bipartisan advocacy that have made this meaningful moment in Texas water policy possible. In a state where water challenges are vast and growing, the momentum behind water solutions, infrastructure and conservation is both smart and practical.
