ulful sound. During his freshman year at the University of Mississippi, Solon was quickly recognized for his abilities as a vocalist and guitar player, as well as his ability to command a crowd. It was at this time that Solon was first noticed by a major record label, with contract negotiations tabled in order to allow him time to write and further develop his sound. To this end, Solon moved to Nashville during the summer following his freshman year, and has been enthusiastically received by the Nashville community. Weaving together his passion for bluegrass with the soulful spirit of gospel, Solon has brought his intense and unreserved sound to the world of country and Americana music. His “home away from home” sits within the walls of Universal Music Publishing Group writing and producing music alongside some of Nashville’s greatest songwriters.
