Medicare Part D plans continue to shrink

The number of stand-alone Part D prescription drug plans has fallen by 55% since the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, reaching a record low of 360 plans; only 8 major plans maintain preferred networks. Walgreens and Walmart participate in six of these preferred networks, while CVS is preferred only in two Wellcare plans.
