Don’t mind us, just flipping through this pretty zine from Gainesville! Shoutout to Jernie Millán for passing these around at our Capstone Convening last week in Dallas! 🧡💜💚

“Our Love Letter from Gainesville to Gainesville” is an interactive “mini magazine” featuring local artists, highlights from art workshops in GNV and so much more - like word searches, quotes and a mad lib! Swipe for an inside look, plus photos of Gainesville’s new “HeART Wall!”

From November 2023 through May 2024, Gainesville artist Sarah Hinds hosted HeART gatherings in schools, community centers, and parks, creating over 2,500 individual mosaic hearts with Gainesville locals. Each heart represents a thread in the vibrant fabric of our community, woven together to form a powerful visual symbol of unity and creativity.

You can check out this permanent art piece near Depot Park! (874 SE 4th St)📍

We 💜 you, Gainesville!
