It felt appropriate to warmup in the rain (Texas decided to be wet and cold randomly, I guess) and play a lovely tune from a beloved movie. Can you guess the song name and movie it comes from?
I sometimes sneak in certain songs during cocktail hour if I’m given freedom over the setlist. No swifties were sighted today! I’ll keep trying! 😫
Raise your hand if you’re a Keane fan and can recognize this song! I’ve been loving it as a request from brides (and I honestly include it in the setlist whenever I can too)! 😉
From Christian to Pop to Rock to Cinematic to Bridgerton, I got you covered. 🥰💝😘
I get asked for suggestions all the time! There are a multitude of songs out there. How do you decide what your exit song should be? Your grand entrance? The bridesmaids song? Well…I actually have my own suggestion lists and playlists to help with all of that! Curated by me and including my own covers and works, my playlists and suggestion sheet (coming soon) will be created to help with those big decisions. Music is important! I’m here to help and I’m basically a walking jukebox at this point. I’ve played practically everything and have maybe over 700 songs in my head to shuffle through. 😉
I think I like adapting country songs to the violin. I find that so many of them give off “cinematic romantic” vibes perfectly suited to weddings. Hmmm… 🤔🤭 what do y’all think?
Ending the year with romance was definitely the right move. I loved playing along to I Get To Love You by , as the bride had requested! 🥰 Would you want solo violin playing the melody or violin playing along to the actual song?
Did I prove it? Did I prove that I can play ‘Man I Need’ by ?
