Thank you to everyone who came out to support today at I was so happy to see so many regulars and the opportunity to serve so many new faces, today was absolutely fun 🤩 best way I can describe it, made all the hours of prep worth it couldn’t have thought a better way of celebrating my birthday sorry I haven’t responded to everyone I was slammed all day but I hope y’all catch me at my next one 🙏🏾❤️🔥 putting up and cleaning now the life of chef but thank yall thank yall thank yall

4 days of prep but the tamales are all finally rolled and cooking. Drop off will be between 8:30-9 am max, we were hoping to have them right at opening but we had to make about 700 total tamales 🫔🙏🏾🫱🏽🫲🏾 thank you everyone. That being said we will do one more tamale pop up next month so be on the look out guys! So happy with how they’re coming out this year! The growth in cooking has been real!

Happy to finally announce my first public pop up in Dallas! I’m excited to invite you to join me this upcoming Saturday December 27th which is my official birthday(Capricorns stand up!) at from 8-11AM or sold out and food will be limited! As 2026 approaches we have secured a few locations that’ll you be able to find me will be in the first place in our rotation now! We are still working hard on your tamale orders but I’m excited to see everyone and no greater gift for me as a Chef would be than the opportunity to feed you one more time! Hope y’all can join me!

Alright guys we are cutting off orders for tamales! Beyond grateful to yall! The first video was the first tamal pop up we did at 2 years ago right before starting there and introducing my famous sandwich menu, that year I roughly prepped 9lbs of jack fruit and the amount of non vegan tamales out number the vegan ones ordered. This go around im prepping 24 lbs of jack fruit which dwarfed the amount of non vegan tamales ordered 😭🙏🏾 you guys have truly come to appreciate the effort I put into my jack fruit and it shows from the orders beyond ecstatic to cook for y’all having to start tonight to make sure everything is done on time for Tuesdays pick up at again thank yall for trusting my cuisine and stay tune for a special announcement for next week 👀😌

First off thank you to everyone who has placed orders, shared the pop up flyer, reposted or have been telling others! Beyond grateful for the opportunity to cook! I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce my self
My name is Frank (not Franscio) May (Mai - Mayan derived last name) I’m a proud 4th generation Mayan chef on my mother’s side. For those of you who don’t know my mother, grandmother and great grandmother made their living by growing and cultivating spices/sauces and cooking and selling food at the market in their village back in Merida, Yuctan Mexico. For as long as I can remember I’ve been cooking at first it came out of necessity my mom worked a day and night job for about 24 years (idk how) so to help her, around the age of 8 I asked my mom if she could teach me to cook so I could feed myself and give her one less thing to worry about. That grew into me helping her for cooking regularly especially around the holidays when she would make traditional dishes from Yucatán. Many many years later I’m still cooking and passionately about it! Food has always been a corner stone in my life from lack of it to healing and exploring the world and my culture through recreating different dishes and working along side many great and passionate chefs/cooks!
We are still taking orders but will make tomorrow, Saturday 10 pm the cut off to submit and fully pay for the order to pick up Tuesday/wednesday at our partnered pick up location. ❤️🔥As a thank you and a thank you to the homie across the U.S. who graciously bought many many tamales to give away here in OAKCLIFF ❤️🔥Most of the tamales he purchased will be given to the homeless homies next week at but we will select one person from every one who’s shared, reposted ,ordered and paid for to have a free dozen tamales. I won’t name him but know he has a wonderful heart and I’m honored to call him a friend! There’s still time to order but someone will also enjoy some free tamales with their loved ones!

Tamale pop up!
Ok you guys asked so here we go!
Your favorite YUCATAN Chefs are teaming up again for one last pop up of the year! Tamales! We’ll have vegan done by yours truly and non vegan handled by my beautiful mother. Please see menu for options! All orders must be submitted by and paid for by Sunday at 10 am! Pick up/delivery will be Monday afternoon and Tuesday. (Pick up locations tba Sunday) We can also freeze and hold them if you’re wanting to grab them later next week or the week after! Please let me know dm me and help gizmo and Balto get great gifts this year! My Bday is next Saturday as well so serving yall one last time would be a great gift for me!

We are officially sold out!! Thank you guys for an incredible season of cooking here at I’ll still be in oak Cliff so definitely keep up, yes I’ll still pop up from time to time here as well as other special events in the works but you’ll be catching me in different parts of oak Cliff and Texas soon! I can’t emphasize how much gratitude I have. Many years ago I made the switch to veganism and of course so did my food. For a long time people were hesitant towards trying my food but seeing the lines of yesterday and today makes me so happy I stood my ground and believed whole heartedly in what I was doing and now I get to share it with so many of yall and it brings me so much joy when y’all tell me yall love. It’s not good bye it’s catch me where I’m at! Can’t wait to serve yall again and yes tamales are coming out this months so stay tuned!
