We are hosting our annual community resource block party that brings local agencies and vendors within our community together to provide resources that help promote self-sufficiency and drug awareness within District 4. This year’s “Guiding the Block” resource party will focus on our “ReDirect” program that educates the community on drugs that are affecting our youth in the community. Our organization’s mission is “To Help Our Youth of Today, Discovery Who they Are and can Be.” 2023’s Community Resource Block Party will be held on August 5th, 2023. This event will bring legal aids, mental health providers, employment opportunities, and educational resources all together to promote self-sufficiency in the household. We invite our community local entrepreneurs, food vendors, and community within itself to come and have fun; all while becoming more aware of prevention methods for substance use disorders amongst our youth.
