A.J. Foyt: Survivor, Champion, Legend, and The Miller Grill Book Signings

Art Garner, author of A.J. Foyt - Volume 1: Survivor, Champion, Legend, will be signing, and participating in a Q & A with fans on Wednesday, May 21, at Vintage Indy. Joining Garner will be first-time author Bart Stevens, who will also be signing and talking about his new book, The Miller Grill, as well as his career in the music industry. Both books will be available for sale at the event.

Seating is limited, and those interested should reserve a spot by emailing [email protected]. Vintage Indy is located at 1901 W. 15th St. Indianapolis, IN 46202. The program is scheduled for 4-6pm. Admission is free, but a reservation is required.

Stevens will also be speaking and signing earlier in the day at Charlie Brown's Pancake & Steak House. This expanded session will allow Stevens to share stories about The Miller Grill as well as his time working with Michael Jackson, Joe Satriani, Spinal Tap, Box Scaggs and Kiss. Charlie Brown's is located at 1038 N Main St. Speedway, IN 46224. The program is scheduled for 1-3pm, so come early for lunch. Admission is free.

I found this shirt while doing some work in Johnny Rutherford’s Collection last week. He said Wadd made some great custom shirts over the years. I understand Mr. Unser may have had a road accident with a deer and they were not going to let him forget it. Nothing like a good gut punch saying JR and Foyt were better drivers. Funny stuff.
