Exciting news for Bengali theater lovers in town!

A huge congratulations to the newly formed theater team, Rongomoncho, on their very first production this weekend! Wishing the entire cast and crew immense success on this incredible debut.

They are bringing to life a gripping psychological stage drama, "Jinn Kafil", adapted from Humayun Ahmed’s legendary Misir Ali series. Here is a glimpse of what to expect:

Jinn Kafil is about logic vs. the supernatural. In a remote village, under the shadow of an abandoned mosque, an unknown terror haunts the life of a woman named Latifa. Faced with fear, deep-rooted beliefs, and claims of an invisible force, Misir Ali steps in. This is where logic collides with faith, and psychology challenges the paranormal. What truth lies hidden in the depths of this mystery? Find out in this theatrical adaptation.

Break a leg, Team Rongomoncho! We cannot wait to see this timeless character come to life on stage.

Slides are okay. But crawling around a flip chart with a marker in hand is way more fun.

Yesterday’s Org Development Day reminded us that some of the best breakthroughs happen when we step away from the usual, get our hands dirty, and experiment together.

Great conversations. Robust team pulse. Creative problem-solving. Plenty of laughs & pizza. And a stronger sense of where we’re headed next.

Grateful to R2 Realty for giving us an inspiring space to converse.

Not every season needs a hero. Some seasons ask you to strengthen the chorus.

SCRIPT WRITERS: You have a short play sitting on your hard drive? The one you’ve been "polishing" for six months? It’s time to drag it out of the drawer and throw it into the fast lane.

DFW Play is hunting for fierce, fast-paced short scripts (4 - 8 pages) in Hindi, English, or Hinglish.

No endless development hell. No waiting years for a workshop slot. If your script is selected, a director and cast will grab it, run with it, and perform it live on stage in a couple of weeks.

It’s going to be raw. It’s going to be spontaneous. It’s going to be a total adrenaline rush.

You retain 100% copyright ownership of your script. You’re just giving us a non-exclusive license to set it on fire (metaphorically) for this one wild afternoon.

High energy, deep focus, and zero inhibitions. Our Advanced Cohort absolutely crushed the intensive workshop. There is nothing quite like watching an ensemble build original worlds from scratch.

Workshop 2026.

A room full of talents, trusting the process, pushing through brave attempts, and some breakthroughs. We tried Girish Karnad to Mahesweta Devi, Tagore to Asgar Wajahat.

The energy was electric, the connects were real, and the confidence kept growing.

We love the grit and can’t be more proud!

Deconstructing habitual movements with the 2026 Cohort. From the rigid geometry of a Society to the spinal chaos of Tagore’s Storm, we’re stripping away the decorative to reclaim the grit.

Humble beginnings. New ballads. New faces, new questions. A quiet nervousness in the air, but also that familiar spark.

Not easy. Not certain. But possible.
