B H M with N B M A K E S | This weekend, I had the honor of hosting a workshop at . Over the years, I’ve realized how my clay practice is imbued with meaning from my heritage. Through my jewelry practice, I get to reclaim how beads were once used to oppress and enslave my ancestors. Through my floral patterns, I get to reconnect with my grandmothers and their admiration of the beauty nature brings. We all have a bead of hope, and mine is YOU. What is yours?
