Another year around that burning ball of gas ☀️

Grateful to say I'm still here at 34 (might take this post down later so no one can document that fact and I can still fulfill my dream to become a gold medal USA gymnast) and still be doing what I love.
For my betray this year all I really want is for people to hear my newest albums and releases.

This track "Love Addiction" is a song I'm proud of for multiple reasons. 1. My brother Gabe is on it and he rips an insane solo. 🎸 And 2. It features lyrics about struggling with an issue in my life that I feel many people can relate to in a time of such isolation in society. 💔

We are all sick of trying to hack the algorithm 🤮

I know how it feels.
And I this isn't me selling anything or claiming to have expert advice.
It's simply the announcement of my new YouTube vlog series. I'll be documenting my thoughts plans and executions of my new social media journey weekly on YouTube, with small updates via my stories or reels just like this one posted here on instagram as well.
But if you're a musician looking for ideas from a fellow musician who is still working towards their goals, this series might interest you.
Growth is something we have to be unafraid to show and that means sharing those times when we are still figuring it out and piecing things together. So I hope this series resonates with some of you and helps people just like me.

The truth is I'm burnt out 😵‍💫

Yeah, I'm promoting an album that's been released almost a year ago for the first time on Instagram. Part of me regrets that I didn't take full advantage of promoting this awesome project the way it deserves. However, I'm tired of having to be some sort of content machine for the algorithm to feed on. When I initially made this album, it wasn't to get clicks or views or follows. It was just to create a debut solo album that I could have my friends collaborate with me on. 👾

But a year ago, I was on a super high kick to market to the utmost degree. That's when I created a lot of sketches on here that featured me being humorous and promoting my music. That was right before I lost my job in April. Since then, I've been struggling to keep my head above water both mentally and financially. 🌊

I once again recently felt motivated to push myself and create a new website for my brand and realized I never uploaded this album to band camp (by the way the b sides to this album are available there for download exclusively). Since I'm now working on new music like my hip-hop duo and have begun recording for my new solo album, It only felt appropriate to finally address the elephant in the room.

been exploring some new forms of expression lately. i think it's been pretty fun. it always exciting when you still find ways to surprise yourself. sometimes i feel like that might be what I'm here for, what we're all here for maybe. whatever the case, I'm proud to be willing to try new things with my voice and writing abilities. check it, dig it.
