What is Fond AD? A lot of you have been asking and we are excited to share what it is. We created Fond AD as an homage to Chef Jennie’s previous culinary endeavor called @frankunderground. Fond AD stands for Fond After Dark, & like Frank offers guests on our email list early access to the date, theme & reservation policy. Want to get on the list? Simply go to Fond-Dallas.com & sign up. At Fond AD you will be greeted with an amuse bouche & welcome cocktail. After that you are seated around our communal dining table & offered a 6-8 course tasting menu (based on a particular theme) with wine pairings. We encourage our guests to sit next to someone they came with & across from someone they’ve never met. Without a doubt you will find something in common with the other guests at the table & leave knowing you just had a dinner to remember! Beautiful day for this play on a Reuben we call The Montague. Featuring Wagyu Pastrami we import from with Swiss, Sauerkraut, House Thousand Island on Marble Rye. Fun fact: we named it The Montague after John Montague who was the Earl of Sandwich and is rumored to have been to busy gambling to leave the table so his servants brought him roast beef placed between two pieces of bread so he could continue playing cards but also eat.
