Step into a world of color and perspective at our new art exhibit featured at this year's Celina Cajun Fest! Texas Folklife is a statewide organization dedicated to presenting, promoting, and preserving the diverse living heritage of the Lone Star State. Walk through the Accordion Kings and Queens exhibition celebrating the diversity of Texas accordion music. Plus enjoy curated art from our CISD students, just like Cajun culture is deeply rooted in art, this student art show celebrates Celina's love for creativity and culture.

As we get ready for Celina Cajun Fest this Saturday, the safety and security of our residents and visitors remains our top priority. The Celina Police Department, Celina Fire Department, and our public safety partners have worked extensively behind the scenes to help ensure a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly experience for everyone attending.

Throughout the event, officers will be strategically positioned across Downtown Celina, supported by expanded security measures, drone technology, dedicated officer overwatch, onsite paramedics, and marked patrol units near key access points and barricades. Guests can also stop by the Police Department tent at any time during the festival for assistance or to report concerns.

For families attending, free children’s safety wristbands will be available to help reunite families quickly if needed.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Downtown Celina for an exciting day of live music, food, family fun, and community celebration. Thank you for helping us keep Cajun Fest safe, enjoyable, and memorable for all!

We've been Yarn Bombed for Celina Cajun Fest!

This vibrant artistic expression has weaved its way through the trees, adding a creative and colorful touch to our historic Downtown Square.

Just like Cajun culture is deeply rooted in art, music, and tradition, this installation celebrates Celina's love for creativity and culture.

Take a stroll through the Square from now until May 24th and enjoy the colorful attraction!

Heading to Cajun Fest this Saturday? 🦞🤠 Make your arrival as smooth as a Bayou breeze by checking out our parking and road closure guide.

📍 Where to Park:
• Free Downtown Parking Garage: Our Downtown Parking Garage is open with limited capacity. Please be aware that the parking garage elevator is currently inactive. If you have mobility concerns, we highly recommend utilizing the accessible parking lot or free event shuttles.
• Free Downtown Parking: Parking is available throughout the downtown area, check the map below.
• Free Event Shuttles: Park at Celina High School or Moore Middle School and catch the free shuttle directly to the Square. It’s the easiest way to avoid traffic!

♿ Accessible Parking: Dedicated accessible parking is available in the lot at the corner of Louisiana Dr. and Pecan St.

🚧 Road Closures: To keep our pedestrians safe, several roads around the Square will begin closing Friday morning at 6 AM through Saturday at midnight. Please follow all posted detour signs and stay alert for increased foot traffic in the Downtown area.

To kick off the 14th Annual Celina Cajun Fest, we’ve got two incredible bands ready to turn up the heat with those true Zydeco beats.

🥁 Honey Island Swamp Band – Bringing that gritty, soulful "Bayou Americana" sound that’ll make you feel like you’re right on the New Orleans riverfront.
🎸 Bayou Roux – Delivering high-energy Cajun rock and Zydeco rhythms that are practically designed for dancing with a crawfish platter in hand.

Come early, grab your spot on the Square, and get ready for a full-on Cajun experience before our headliners take the stage. The music starts early, and the energy is going to be electric!

The City of Celina invites you to experience an evening full of community, connection, and local flavor. These free-to-attend markets are the perfect way to get outside, support local, and enjoy everything that makes Celina special.

Stroll the Square and explore more than 60 vendors featuring homemade, handmade, and homegrown goods. From unique handcrafted items and seasonal produce to artisanal pastries, fresh eggs, and free-range meats, there is something for everyone. Come hungry, too.
