In memory of , Dallas Hope Charities is reflecting on the legacy that he left behind that is still supporting homeless young adults find through the kindness of his family, friends, and fans.

👉🏾 $100,000+ raised in his name.
👉🏽 898 Books are housed within the library and overflowed into the rest of the Hope Center
👉🏼 25 young adults have received help through our 8-bed Hope Center that Riley Gale's contributions helped purchase.

The library received a refresh, along with the entire Hope Center, back in April 2023 thanks to U.S. Bank, Mercedes Benz Financial Services, and Dwell with Dignity.

Riley Gale was a champion of his generation. He cultivated a family of fans that are accepting of everyone and supportive to the work that Dallas Hope Charities is on a mission to provide .

Today we will be hanging a plaque in the Hope Center library that commemorates and honors Riley Gale's commitment to LGBT advocacy and passion for the inclusion of all humans.

With the help of Riley and his fans, we could not operate our Hope Center, Dallas's first -focused youth homeless shelter. At Dallas Hope Center, we provide a 12-month transitional living program that teaches our residents how to live authentically and independently.

Collective Hope Coalition 's mission is to determine the factors that increase hopelessness and su***de among our lgbtq siblings. Once those factors are determine, we then develop strategies that will combat and reduce death by su***de within our communities.

Journey of Hope Grief Support Center provided Collective Hope Coalition members Grief Support Training on how to interact with others that are mourning a loss by su***de or other event in their life that causes grief.

Here are some great takeaway from the training on Monday.
