♡ This is for all the moms out there who always made sure the table was set for days just like this. . . from the seemingly mundane weeknight dinners, or a cup of sympathy and tea after a not so good day, to the most beautiful spreads for every holiday and celebration. It is your maternal flair and care that makes the table feel so special.

P.S. If you asked us what to gift her today, we’d say one of the three C’s: Chanel, carats, or new china. But if those aren’t on the table, we promise, a clean slate and a happy heart will shine just as fine. Love to you and yours, always.

It’s the soirée you said you were too busy to host or attend but now you’re pouring great wine and conversing with your favorite people, watching the sun’s shadow dance across a stunning azure linen whose color speaks to your soul while the soft warmth of the Ginori Citrino plays buoyantly off of the hand painted depth of an Anna Weatherely navy charger while you sit in a terribly comfortable rattan chair, and you realize, this beautiful sentimental moment, shared so thoughtfully by each selection brought to the table, will live longer in your memory than whatever task you rolled over to tomorrows to-do list. So when in doubt—remember, make the effort, darling. For them. For you.

Or maybe you could care less about color theory but Jacob and Margo really spoke to your inner romantic and you are certain they would share the same Garofano tattoos across their chests as members in the tortured poets department.
