And it’s also the project that never ends haha😜
But in all seriousness, we’re given this one life, and it’s up to us to while we’re here on earth and create a that lives on after we’re gone.
And if you’re not getting better, then you’re not doing better.
In , I learned that we’re never just standing still as many would believe. We’re always on a curve....and headed either up or down.
In other words, if you’re not on the curve, then you’re on the failure curve. There’s no middle ground.
So my question, in regards to the project of YOU, what are you working on today? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Reading a book called The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson (read it if you haven’t yet!)...
And I’m on the chapter called The Secret of Happiness.
That’s what we’re all looking for right?
But most of us have it backwards 🤔
We think...I’ll be happy when _______________.
(Fill in the blank...I make more money, I get married, I have kids, I get that new car, etc.)
The truth is, and there’s actual research to back it up, that happiness comes first.
▪️Happy people are healthier.
▪️Happy people have longer and more fulfilling marriages.
▪️Happy people are more financially successful.
▪️Happy people have a greater positive impact on society.
▪️Happy people live longer.
So I’m wondering...do you do something everyday that brings you happiness? What is it? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Whatever it is, 🙌🏻
I would love to know one you’re setting for yourself and one step you’re making TODAY in the right direction 👇🏻
Personally, one year from today, I’d like to see my 😂 I laugh, but I’m dead serious! I know they’re in there!
So today, I already knocked out my and I plan to track my calories in .

After hearing my BFF Lyndie Davis go on and on (and on and on) about The Slight Edge, I finally ordered the hard cover from Amazon.
I haven’t actually held a book in my hands in Lord knows how long lol...I usually read on my phone🤷🏼♀️
But Lyndie told me this is one book I’d want to come back to, highlight certain parts and dog ear pages, so here we go!
Excited to start! Have you read this one?

Today I’m grateful for my 2 healthy (although ornery😜) children.
There’s a story behind this statement, and I don’t want to get into it on social media...
But last night I was reminded just how blessed we truly are with the gift of health.
What is something you are grateful for that you often take for granted? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Last night at was talking about the word BUSY and how we should eliminate that word from our vocabulary.
And I’m over here thinking...but it’s just a word🤷🏼♀️
And then I realized that every time I speak or think this word, my physical reaction is to tense up or clinch my teeth together.
Not good.
So I kept listening as she’s talking about her “to do” list. Instead of thinking of this list as tasks she’s GOT to do, she thinks of them as things she GETS to do.
Wow 🤯
For example, “I’ve GOT to get Ava to and from volleyball camp today” (negative energy behind this statement: it’s inconvenient)
BECOMES 👇🏻
“I GET to take and pick up Ava from volleyball camp today” (meaning: we get to spend some extra time together, I’m blessed to have this flexibility, doing this brings me joy, etc).
Will you try this with me? Take one thing on your to do list, and complete this statement:
TODAY I GET TO __________________________.
How does that change the way you feel about it?

Yall...this 🙌🏻
I have been so freaking guilty of mindlessly wasting precious time just SCROLLING 📱
Not cool.
I run my biz from my phone, which is a HUGE blessing...I can work from just about anywhere as long as I have a signal or WiFi 😂
So even though I was always WITH my family, I wasn’t always PRESENT. Get what I’m saying?
I finally had to establish “office hours.”
What a game changer!
This wasn’t something I shared with my team or my customers...it was just a boundary I established for myself and shared with my family. Sometimes it varied, depending on the day...but I always decided which hours I’d be working and which hours were for my family.
So now, when my kids ask “Mom, are you working?”, I gotta be real with myself...am I in my office hours or am I just screwing around on my phone?
Do you have to intentionally separate yourself from your phone? What strategies have worked for you?

Sitting here in my car, getting ready to start my workout, and I’m thinking...I’ll just go for a walk today.
Yes, it’s better than turning around and going home, but let’s be honest...a walk isn’t getting me closer to my goals.
My goals aren’t “walk size” goals. Heck, they’re not even “jog size” goals!
These goals are only being reached by FLAT OUT SPRINTING🏃🏼♀️
So here’s my affirmation for the day:
I AM SPRINTING TOWARDS MY GOALS.
I WILL NOT LET MYSELF OFF THE HOOK.
IF IT IS TO BE, IT’S UP TO ME.
I AM IN CHARGE OF CREATING MY RESULTS.
How are you talking to yourself this morning? I want to see those affirmations 👇🏻
Hey guys! I’m sorry but I need to postpone our weekly live until tomorrow....CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY day over here 🤪 See ya tomorrow!
