If you've ever thought, "I don't know how to pose" or "I'm not photogenic," I want you to know that almost every client who walks through my door says the exact same thing.

By the end of the session, they're usually amazed by the results.
My job goes far beyond taking photos.

Sometimes I'm the one breaking the ice with a joke to bring out a genuine smile.

Other times, I'm helping you choose the outfit that will look best on camera.

If there are kids involved, you'll probably find me playing with them first to earn their trust before I even pick up my camera.

And when needed, I'm the one guiding you—showing you where to place your hands or how to turn just enough so your photos feel natural and effortless.

But there are also moments when I simply disappear.

At weddings and special events, I love blending into the background, quietly capturing the moments no one can pose for—a tear, a burst of laughter, an unexpected hug.

That's what I love most about this profession.

Meeting people, telling their stories, and creating memories that become even more meaningful as the years go by.

Hola, soy Rafael Azuaje. 👋📸

Si alguna vez has pensado "no sé posar" o "no soy fotogénico", quiero que sepas que casi todos mis clientes llegan diciéndome exactamente lo mismo.

Y al final de la sesión terminan sorprendiéndose con el resultado.
Mi trabajo va mucho más allá de tomar fotografías.

A veces soy quien rompe el hielo con un chiste para sacar una sonrisa de verdad.

Otras veces te ayudo a elegir la ropa que mejor funciona para las fotos.
Si hay niños, probablemente termine jugando con ellos para ganar su confianza antes de sacar la cámara.

Y cuando hace falta, también soy ese que te dice dónde poner las manos o cómo girar un poco para que la foto se vea natural.

Pero también hay momentos en los que simplemente desaparezco.

En una boda o en un evento, me gusta pasar desapercibido para capturar esas emociones que nadie puede posar: una lágrima, una carcajada, un abrazo inesperado.

Eso es lo que más disfruto de esta profesión.

Conocer personas, contar historias y entregar recuerdos que con el tiempo terminan teniendo mucho más valor del que imaginamos.

Gracias a todos los que han confiado en mí para documentar una parte de su historia. De verdad, es un privilegio.
