Morning round featuring our MAHI-MAHI Capture Flag Golf Towel and our ‘Keep It Trolling’ Rope Hat which will be available later in October! Keep It Trolling is our motto and refers to the sea all while it holds a short story behind it’s meaning. As most fisherman know trolling is the practice of pulling a lure or other bait behind a boat while it is in motion to make the bait seem more lively in the water. On one fishing trip my father and I were given a last minute captain for a boat out in the Gulf of Mexico looking to catch Mahi and Rooster but we soon found out how inexperienced our captain was within the first 15 minutes of the trip. By the time half the trip was over I was driving the boat myself while baiting hooks as the captain and my father were reeling in Mahi-Mahi shortly after we had taken over the charter! Moral of the story; keep going. Sometimes you are going to be given bad situations, bad breaks, bad captains, and sometimes just pure bad luck, but at the end of the day we are all given the choice to go back to the marina; or keep it trolling!
