UpChuck Comics is an independent comic book publisher located in Dallas, TX Climate change has caused a mutation resulting in a new race of 10 foot tall humans.
Racked by prejudice, poor health and lack of opportunity this race are mandated to take daily medication and work in federal work programs. Nate Belcher is a typical BiGS working in anonymity until a viral video thrusts him into the spotlight. Now this suddenly extraordinary man may be the key to saving his race and maybe the world.
The idea for single minded machine searching for oil came when Dallas started getting tremors geologists said were due to fracking. Unchecked, what kind of damage could a machine like this cause if it deployed a drill right at your feet?

To show the Kids training I wanted something emphasizing how young the kids were and was more real world than “the Danger Room.” Here illustrates a backyard swing set into a training space for our young heros, with colors finished . 🎵 by mozes_muzic

Atlantis melting into the sea and Lex Luthor nuking the fault line creating a new coast line, fascinated audiences. Trying to save the ice caps seemed like something giants facing climate catastrophe would do and a great way to introduce the world of BiGS.
The story of Black Wall Street fascinated me since I saw a PBS documentary. I used that as inspiration for the Oasis. Watch create the Oasis step by step before adds the final color treatment. Music by mozes_muzic
