Early Spring in North Texas means it’s wildflower season 🌻

There may be a time in your life where your photographer has a medical emergency the day before your wedding and your inner voice will tell you not to ask your photographer friend to take your wedding portraits… it’s very important you do not listen to that voice.

Last year, our friends got married and found themselves in need of a photographer due to unforeseen circumstances. Thankfully, they allowed me to hop in and make sure they had photos to remember their day forever!

Motherhood is every good thing they say. It’s stretching, transformative, humbling. It’s rewarding with a side of spit up on your shirt. New strengths well up inside you that you never knew were possible. Sure, it can come with sleepless nights, but it’s not the sum of those sleepless nights. Motherhood is about becoming who God created you to be.

This photo wasn’t on a timeline. The room erupted into cheers as the bridal party poured in, limiting space to move around. Abbey melted into Matt with a sigh of relief, she couldn’t believe they were finally married. Shouts of praise broke out, tears streamed many faces. The newlyweds remained glued, man and wife at last. Joy joy joy!

These are sacred moments I never want to disregard as ordinary.
