Intuito Group is a management consulting and leadership development firm helping businesses scale through strategy, structure, people, process, and technology.
Your best employee may be your biggest operational risk.
If one person is always the fixer, the closer, the approval path, the culture carrier, and the one everyone depends on…
you do not have scale.
You have dependency.
A business does not become stronger because one person keeps saving the day.
It becomes stronger when performance, trust, decision-making, and ex*****on can transfer across the team.
Heroes are impressive.
Systems are scalable.
If losing one person would slow everything down, the issue is not talent.
It is design.

Does your team know the system or are they just reacting to the game?
Every winning team has two things:
a system of play and a shape.
In business, the system is how you intend to win.
The shape is how your team organizes and adjusts when conditions change.
Too many companies have talented people, busy teams, and constant movement—but no clear answer to:
What system do we run?
What does offense look like here?
How do we adjust when the game changes?
Great leaders make the system clear, the roles understood, and the adjustments natural.
If the answers are inconsistent, the issue usually isn’t effort.
It’s design.
And design is a leadership responsibility.

Take Your Kid to Work Day: Edition
My wife and I brought our son with us as we head to a leadership conference in Miami and honestly, nothing brings me more joy.
Not because he needs to “learn business overnight”…but because I want him to see it.
The early mornings.
The travel days.
The conversations that sharpen you.
The discipline it takes to build something real beyond sports, beyond school, beyond what most people ever see.
I want him to experience my world early so the “school of hard knocks” doesn’t have to hit as hard later.

Freedom isn’t a moment, it’s a mindset we choose every day.
Today, on Juneteenth, we honor the courageous spirit that refused to be broken and turned liberation into a legacy.
reminds us that:
- Resilience wins races.
Even when doors stayed closed, the human spirit kicked them open.
- Unity fuels progress.
Collective courage sparks change faster than any lone champion.
- Vision shapes destiny.
Leaders who see beyond today’s barriers build tomorrow’s breakthroughs.
As , we draw these lessons into our playbook:
- Breakthrough over breakdown.
When obstacles loom, pivot & persevere don’t plateau.
- Team over turf.
Great cultures aren’t built solo. Invest in every voice, amplify every strength.
- Purpose over profit.
Sustainability flows from values-driven action, not just the bottomline.
🔥 Today’s Action Step:
- Take 10 minutes to reflect on one legacy you want to leave in business and one concrete step to bring it to life.
- Then share it with your team.
Juneteenth is our annual reminder: when leadership meets courage, freedom becomes the foundation for our greatest achievements.

If your people strategy can’t withstand volatility, it’s not a strategy, it’s a wager.
Consulting giants are bleeding talent, not just from layoffs, but from relevance.
Latest reports show McKinsey dropped over 10% of its workforce, the biggest cut in its history. Deloitte and Booz Allen are right behind. And while everyone’s pointing to AI, legal fallout, or federal budget shifts…
There’s a deeper truth most leaders won’t say out loud:
They hired for capacity, not capability.
And now that the tide’s receding, only performance remains.
In unstable markets, headcount becomes a liability, unless that headcount is built to move, adapt, and produce under pressure.
That’s why The Business Athlete exists.
- Not just trained professionals, but practiced performers.
- Conditioned for uncertainty.
- Powered by discipline, brand awareness, and energy management.
- Capable of protecting ROI even when systems shake.
My takeaway?
You don’t rise to the occasion. You fall to your level of preparation.
Now is the time to:
- Audit your internal team like a pro roster.
- Train your talent like athletes, not just employees.
- Build in resilience & recovery as an operating principle, not a reaction plan.
The firms that will win in the next 24 months aren’t the biggest.
They’re the most conditioned.

It’s something I’ve been noticing more and more: a widening gap between effort and expectation. We crave results but resist the process. We seek transformation but delegate the work. We want wisdom but would rather be told than learn.
We’ve convinced ourselves that we can outsource our growth, our discipline, our resilience—thinking we’ll still get the same quality product as if it were homemade. But success, like character, isn’t something you can contract out.
The tools, the strategies, the answers—they’ve always been within us. But no mentor, no course, no shortcut can replace the personal labor of growth. That’s ours to do.
💡 So, what are you reclaiming today?

Have you ever watched the best players when they are off the ball? 🤔
I used to love watching clips not for the where the ball was, but watching what was happening all around.
What you see from the best is that they are never standing still.
The best know that standing still in one space is giving an advantage to the defense, becoming easily marked. They are taught to get in and get out.
We have to move and make ourselves available, things change and we have to change with it, creating space at times that didn’t exist before but is now where you need to be in case the ball is played that direction.
That is being a good team player, anticipation and with your actions building trust in your team members, so that when the time comes, you will be in the space that the teams needs.
As a leader, are you watching your players “off-ball” movement???
As a player, are you engaged in the match or growing roots???

"When alignment happens, there's no more running in circles...there's progress." - Jack Welch
As leaders, one of our greatest challenges is ensuring that our teams are strategically aligned and ready to face both opportunities and obstacles head-on. But how often do we truly rethink our organizational structure to ensure we’re positioned for success?
I’ve written an article that introduces a powerful way to visualize and align your departments—just like a championship sports team. By applying sports formations, like the 4-3-3 in soccer, we can create a dynamic and cohesive team structure that drives innovation, collaboration, and growth.
💡 How are you aligning your organization based on the challenges and opportunities ahead?
A Business Athlete Formation: Align Your Team Like a Championship Squad How do you organize the BIG PICTURE? What is your organizational lineup? Do you always line up the same based on the circumstances or challenges you face? Are you thinking about your departments as integral parts to a winning approach and that how you organize them can mean the difference between wi

Is Your Business Powered by Process? 🤔🔋
In the fast-paced business world, it's not just big ideas that drive growth; it's the mastery of the small details - the processes. But let's be real: for many growing businesses, especially the smaller ones, perfecting these processes can feel overwhelming. 😓
💯 Here's the truth: Your business's heartbeat is its processes. They ensure consistency and quality. But shaping these processes? That’s where the real challenge lies.
In my latest LinkedIn article titled 'Rethink or Sink', I discuss the challenges of not only approaching process improvement but how traditional ways of just adding this on to an internal employees list is a mistake and a costly one.
