This customer has hearing problems, which messes with her equilibrium. She was having problems walking on the original stones.

Not only did widening the path help her balance, but the checkered pattern helped her equal out her equilibrium, which made it easier to remain balanced. I was very pleased to hear this, and was happy that this worked so well.
