Lots of good things coming up for an artful spring!

I’m part of Music Alley this year in Mansfield. That’s this weekend! 🎶 I’ll be at a booth and in a juried art show. Come see me! Saturday, May 2nd! I’ll be there at 4pm! I’ll have 1 orginal available for purchase, 8x10 prints and some acrylic cubes (3x3).

Also I’m happy to say I’m in my first show at the Hilton in Grand Prairie. So go check that one out!

“Cutting eyes” - Paper Doll Series

When I was young my grandmother would always say “Don’t cut your eyes at me!” Meaning don’t “sass” me with your eyes. A non verbal way to sass 💁‍♀️ was to “cut the eyes”. Well I guess I did that a lot. 😂

This painting is huge and I usually leave this space in front of Butterscotch open with just the side of the boat showing from the inside. Any suggestions on what should fill this space? I keep thinking something vintage looking like a typewriter or old telephone. The typewriter makes more since to me but then again this is an artist themed boat ride 😆 so maybe more artist tools… hmmm
