ASME RGV
UTRGV ASME is a Mechanical Engineering student organization that promotes engineering programming and professional development.
We are students at The University of Texas β Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), and you will usually find us on the Edinburg or Brownsville campuses. We are open to all majors, and hope you will join us!
Recently, students were invited to volunteer at Energy&U, a community event hosted by The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Engineering Department .cecs focused on introducing and encouraging STEM to students from elementary through high school. π‘βοΈπ
Students from different organizations .utrgv and more...across UTRGV came together to help inspire the next generation through teamwork.
Spots were limited, but weβre grateful some of our ASME members had the opportunity to be part of such an impactful experience!
This vlog is a behind-the-scenes Day 1 of EnergyU β from setup, volunteering, meeting students, and everything in between. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to the students who brought so much energy and curiosity throughout the day. π
Enjoy the BTS vlog!
And if youβre interested in joining ASME, keep an eye out for our Fall recruitment opportunities πβοΈ

What a weekend for ASME UTRGV! π₯
Our chapter traveled to Dallas for ASME EFx Dallas, where around 24 of our members represented UTRGV through two incredible projects: IAM3D and SDC.
From Friday April 10th to Sunday return, this trip was filled with competition, teamwork, learning, and unforgettable memories. We are proud of every member who contributed their time, effort, and dedication to make this experience possible.
A huge thank you to for sponsoring our trip, and to for helping keep our team energized throughout the weekend.
We are proud to represent .cecs and continue growing together as engineers, teammates, and leaders. π€
