We adore accent throw pillows and incorporate them into all our interior design projects because they add the perfect finishing touch, bringing texture and completing the overall look of a space. Here our few tips while selecting perfect pillows:

1. Choose Your Style: Opt for patterns or textures that complement your existing decor—our preference is subtle tones for a cohesive look.

2. Mix and Match: Don’t be afraid to combine different shapes, sizes, and coolers! A mix of square, rectangular, and round pillows can create visual interest. Aim for a balance between bold and neutral tones.

3. Pillow Inserts Matter: For inserts, select a size that’s slightly larger than your covers for a fuller look. A 20x20 insert for a 18x18 cover, for example, gives that plump, luxurious feel. We love down and feather throw pillow inserts inserts.

4. Fabric Choices: Consider the texture and durability of your pillow covers. Linen and cotton are great for everyday use, while velvet adds a touch of elegance. Think about how they’ll feel and wear over time. Our perfect combo is velvet and fur or boucle.

5. Seasonal Updates: Don’t hesitate to switch out your pillows seasonally! This is an easy and cost-effective way to refresh your space and keep it feeling current.

What are the advantages of a large walk-in shower over a shower-tub combo?

1. More Space: A walk-in shower provides ample room for movement, making it easier to shower comfortably.
2. Accessibility: Larger showers are easier to enter and exit, which is beneficial for people with mobility issues.
3. Modern Aesthetic: Walk-in showers often create a sleek, contemporary look that can enhance the overall design of your bathroom.
4. Easier Maintenance: Fewer crevices and corners in a large shower mean less cleaning time and fewer areas for mold or mildew to develop.
5. Better Shower Experience: With features like dual shower heads or rainfall fixtures, a spacious shower can offer a more luxurious and enjoyable experience.
6. Increased Home Value: A well-designed walk-in shower can add significant value to your home and appeal to potential buyers.
7. Customization Options: Larger spaces allow for various design choices, such as built-in shelves, seating, or different tile options, including steam shower.
8. Enhanced Functionality: A dedicated shower space can make your bathroom more functional, especially for families or multiple users.

Welcome to my world of design, where simplicity meets sophistication. I’m Luba, founder & principal designer at THE DECOROOM with a deep love for neutral aesthetics and modern minimalist interiors. For me, design is more than just arranging furniture—it’s about creating spaces that resonate with peace, clarity, and effortless elegance.

In our work, we focus on the beauty of simplicity and quiet luxury. I believe that a well-designed space doesn’t need to shout. It speaks quietly through subtle tones, clean lines, and thoughtful details. Neutral palettes are my canvas—they bring a sense of calm and allow the architecture and textures to take center stage. Our approach is about thoughtfully curating each element to ensure that it serves both form and function.

Every project we undertake is a journey towards creating a space that feels like a sanctuary, a place where you can breathe, relax, and truly be yourself. We draw inspiration from the natural world, art, and the intrinsic beauty of raw materials. The result? Interiors that are timeless, serene, and uniquely yours.

Join us as we continue to turn ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. With Love, Luba🤍
