Little Mo
She was the first woman and the youngest at age 18 to have ever won this elusive crown. The series begins in the spring/summer with four Regionals tournaments.
In 1968, Maureen Connolly Brinker and Nancy Jeffett cofounded MCB Tennis Foundation with the mission to further the development of junior tennis worldwide and empower young boys and girls to compete and travel to tournaments. Taylor Fritz and Nishesh Basavareddy, both former “Little Mo” champions, are playing first round today at the French Open. They are taking the court now on Tennis Channel! Here is a photo of Nishesh when he won the “Little Mo” Slam in 2013. He was the first winner of the 6’ trophy - the tallest trophy in junior tennis! To win the “Little Mo” Slam, a player has to win the three “Little Mo” Internationals (yellow ball) ages 8-12. Registration is open for Regionals and Internationals - visit mcbtennis.org.

Congrats to Ignacio Buse, former “Little Mo” champion from Peru! He won his first ATP title in Hamburg by defeating Tommy Paul, who is also a former “Little Mo” champion.
