This patient came to us to refill her lips with filler after she fully dissolved her top lip (with a different injector) We discussed the migration that is apparent on her bottom lip as well. Ultimately we decided to dissolve the fillers that have migrated outside of her vermillion border on her bottom lip and refill her top lip with 1/2 syringe of lip filler.

In honor of nurses week we want to tell you a little bit about our nurses.
Our San Antonio locations is a Nurse lead practice by our . Prior to aesthetic nursing, she spent 6.5 years in the NICU setting. She has been an RN for almost a decade and is on her journey to becoming an Family Nurse Practitioner.
Under her leadership are Vanessa and Chasni .

Vanessa received her injector certification in 2019. She currently works as a Postpartum Nurse while she continues to pursue her love for aesthetic.
Chasni is our newest addition to our nursing team. Her background is in PACU. Together these three nurses ensures that patient safety is a priority.
Lastly, our Frisco nurse Kyra works closely with one of our physician assistant . Her background is in the Bariatric Surgical Post Op unit.

Platelet Rich Plasma contains a concentrated amount of platelets which are known for their clotting ability. They also contain growth factors that can stimulate cell reproduction and tissue regeneration. PRP/PRF can be used to to treat a variety of conditions. Aesthetically, we use it for facial injections to stimulate collagen and elastin production, hair restoration to stimulate the hair follicle to begin producing hair, and in adjunct to microneedling to further stimulate collagen production and increase rate of healing.
Keep in mind you will not see results right away from this treatment as it takes time for our body to produce collagen.
