The past 2 days have taken a pause on the stitches to organize the new embroidery floss I got in for this project. 150 gorgeous colors but dear lord they are taking forever to respool. Still have about 20 to finish up tomorrow 😅

Don't know what my Dr had to think while I was during our consultation on my upcoming hysterectomy but she was fitting me in between surgeries in the OR so I knew there was going to be a bit of a wait and I was able to make some really good progress on this panel

So posting basically the same thing everyday is monotonous but I have been working on my stitches every day and finished another bodice piece. 3 pieces down, 4 to go. And yes I was that person who was sewing at a super bowl party 🤣 !

I also ordered the fabrics I think I will use for the skirt. Only "new" supplies I plan to buy for this project and even then I'm upcycling from curtains and another skirt that I plan to deconstruct.

Too tired tonight to do too much but I found a thrifted top for 99¢ that was the perfect color and pattern for my bias tape. Even though it was an XXS I was able to make 8 yards of continuous bias tape 😍

shop invited me over for a craft night so I got to dedicate a few hours to finishing up this panel. Here's a little of what a quilted embroidery piece looks like from the back 🤣

Finished the embroidery on this section. I only have 3 more colors on another section and I will be done with the yoke pieces.
