In observance of Memorial Day, Texas Native Health will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. We will resume our regular hours on Tuesday, May 26th.
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. This day holds special significance for many Native American communities, as Native Americans have a long history of serving in the military at higher rates than any other ethnic group.
From the Code Talkers of World War II to the present-day soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines, Native Americans have played vital roles in our nation's defense. Their courage, resilience, and dedication exemplify the warrior spirit that is deeply rooted in Native cultures.
As we pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by these heroes, we also remember and honor the contributions of our Native American veterans and service members. Their service and sacrifices are a testament to the strength and spirit of our communities.
Thank you for your understanding, and please join us in paying tribute to all who have served and sacrificed for our country.
