It was a good day! I’m so to be part of the thank you so much for making it special. Making me feel welcomed. And most importantly making my wife feel like she was the most important. What a complete class act!

I was in the Army once. I even played silly games. Happy Veterans Day and thank you all for your service. I always thought it was mount training. Didn’t know what it meant but it sounded provocative. Boy was I sad when I learned it was MOUT. 🤣

Most people are born into their team, i.e. I was born into the and . Some people choose their sports team, i.e. the (for reasons too long to explain) and the (thank you for bringing this wonderful sport into my life in the 80’s.) I’ve been fortunate enough to see three of “my” four teams win in my day. However, very few people have a team that’s born into them. The , for the city of Las Vegas, is that team. For me, for us, it’s more than a . Being able to watch the success of a team that was born in the city you call home and bringing a community together after a senseless tragedy like October 1, a team who relentlessly gave back to their community, who united their community, who were there for their community, is nothing short of amazing and impressive, words just aren’t enough to express the feelings we’ve felt over these last six years. This was more than just bringing a home for us. We are fortunate that this team has been successful since their birth, and although we may not know what it’s like to suffer waiting for a championship, we know suffering another way. What the organization did to help heal a community reeling was what our city needed when we were at our lowest. Watching them complete the mission last night in the timeframe promised is a memory of a lifetime and nothing short of a miracle and we can now be out our highest as a city while we continue to heal together. The entire community of I’m sure feels this way, and at some point during this amazing run has shed tears over what this team has meant to us. With that said: I now, we present you the 2023 , your
