Did you know? ☕️

Espresso requires a much finer grind than regular coffee.

Why? Because espresso is brewed under intense pressure and in a very short amount of time. A fine grind helps create enough resistance so the water can properly extract all those rich flavors from the coffee.

Too coarse = weak, sour shots
Just right = espresso magic ✨

It’s been a while since we’ve seen this view! ✈️ The cafe and roastery are closed tomorrow, Monday, 3/2 as our family takes a quick trip! We’ll be back to see you on Tuesday. ❤️

🙌 We’re ready to reopen the cafe but PLEASE NOTE: we will not have espresso (so no lattes, cappuccinos, americanos…) We understand this is a huge hit to the menu and we hope to be fully operational by early next week.

☕️ We will have drip coffee, French press, cold brew, iced chai, iced matcha, and a selection of loose leaf teas. Plus tacodeli is back!

❄️ We’ve decided to go ahead and remain closed through Monday! The goal is to get all roasted coffee orders out by Monday afternoon, but we will post updates here. Hope everyone is staying warm and safe during this winter storm. ❄️
