Just got back from vacationing in Cabo! 4 kids-free days to lounge by the pool with margs, guacamole and ceviche was just what the doctor ordered!🍹

There was a destination wedding taking place that I couldn’t help but creep on all day during setup. Details/logistics ju**ie over here 🙋🏻‍♀️ It is so fun seeing everything come together. I was loving the black goblets, pampas grass and large palm leaves. So beachy, but still so sophisticated.

Even though it was a beach wedding, the wedding party was formal in their black dresses and suits and the bride went with a traditional wedding gown vs casual, beachy dress. Just goes to show you, your wedding is your day to do whatever you want!

You may be wondering why you would need a wedding planner for a destination wedding when the resort will provide a day-of planner for you. I just have one question for you to consider:
🌴 Have you ever tried to manage getting 100+ people through customs? 😬

Other things to consider:
🌴 Planned events and excursions leading up to the wedding (your guests made the trip and will expect other activities during their stay)
🌴 Your all-inclusive package is ideal for budgetary purposes and removes the stress of sourcing vendors, but they will still need to be communicated with prior to, during and after the wedding
🌴 Any decorations or extras will need to either be shipped ahead of time, or packed. No turning around once you get there! And depending on location, potentially no where to run and grab things last minute

Considering a destination wedding? It’s a fun way to give your guests a vacation and get married on paradise. It (can) be budget-friendly as well. But my recommendation would be to still hire a planner to lean on throughout the process and manage all of the logistics.

My husband and I grabbed drinks at the resort bar on the beach and caught the tail end of the reception. We considered crashing the dance floor during “Shout” and becoming real-life wedding crashes. Should we have done it? 🤣

This Old MacDonald had a Farm themed birthday was so fun to pull together. Pro tip: the design and inspiration flow much more easily once you have a theme! That’s why it’s step 1 in my how to throw a perfect toddler bday reel 😉

Coming up with a theme can feel daunting and you may feel inclined to pass on some that feel “over-done.” My suggestion, do what makes you and your child the happiest. Don’t overthink it.

Currently planning another toddler birthday party and girlfriend wants unicorns and rainbows. You know what never gets old?? Unicorns and freakin’ rainbows! 🦄🌈

Yesterday was magical ✨🌈 Thank you to the awesome vendor team that rallied around this family and these two precious little girls. Beyond thrilled that they got to celebrate becoming Officially Orbons!! No more clouds; only rainbows! 🥰
